FOR APPEAL |

The following cases indicated below will be
considered for review and appeal by our Medical Review Committee (MRC): |
|

- Sexually Transmitted Diseases (STD)
- Hepatitis B (HbsAg)
- HIV
- Pulmonary Tuberculosis (PTB) and pulmonary-related infections
|
|
| |
Please note that positive results for Pregnancy
and Drug Tests are STRICTLY PROHIBITED from appeal as per Kementerian Kesihatan
Malaysia’s (KKM) Foreign Worker medical examination guidelines. |

All appeals must be filed within
THREE (3) WEEKS FROM DATE OF DOCTOR’S CERTIFICATION. |

- Clear photocopy of worker passport showing worker particulars and work permit.

APPEAL
PROCESS |

| |
- Send all documents to our Sandakan HQ or any Growarisan branches close to you as soon possible
for immediate appeal processing.
- A RM50.00 processing fee will be charged for appeal. You can pay by cash or bank draft.
- Within THREE (3) DAYS, you will be notified to send your worker to a designated clinic for
drawing of blood sample or x-ray to be taken.
- Employers are reminded NOT to go to any of the clinics or labs of their own choice for
appeal testing/examination. Employers MUST wait for Medical Dept. to notify which clinic or
lab that have designated for them. Any examination or test done without Growarisan’s permission
will NOT be accepted.
- The Medical Review Committee will then review the result of the appeal testing/examination and the
outcome will be communicated to the employer by our Medical Dept. within FOURTEEN (14) DAYS from
date of our notification to employer to send their worker for appeal testing/examination.
- The Medical Review Committee’s decision is final and no further appeal will be entertained.
